This course is aimed at the rider who has just completed the basic handling skills course and is now looking to ride on the open road for the first time.
You will need to have either bought or hired a motorcycle to do this training on.
We will start off with carpark work, building on the skills you learnt at BHS, and then, when I feel you are ready for the road, we start off on some very quiet roads, and from there we build your skills on road.
Rider position, blind spots and head checks are among a few of the things that you will learn in this session and they could just save your life.
For communication we use a rider to rider “sena bluetooth” radio system and I will give you hints and tips throughout the ride, many of my former pupils have said that this training has been the key to them feeling comfortable on their bikes and has given a greater understanding of the 5 phases of motorcycle control.
