WHAT DOES THE COURSE ENTAIL?
This test preparation course, will ensure that you have the required skills to safely and competently ride on the road, whilst obeying the rules of the Road Code.
Following a short assessment, to assess your current riding skills, we have a debrief, and discuss the training programme to increase your skill level, so that you are riding safely and defensively.
During this course, we will cover techniques such as slow speed control, U-Turns, open road riding, around town riding, where prioritising the hazards ahead is very important, lifesavers, correct positioning on the road, the importance of correct braking, cornering etc.
We will also cover defensive riding skills. Why wait until you have been riding for 6-12 months to find out what you should have been doing all along?
This course is both theory and practical. With demonstrations by the instructor as required.
Top range BAEHR bike to bike radio used during all on road training.
Normal length of this course is 3 hours.
